Martial Arts for Kids on a Mission

Martial Arts for Kids a Foundation on a Mission

Transitioning from victim to survivor of domestic violence is a difficult and often financially overwhelming journey. Financial abuse is present in many domestic violence situations, leaving families without access to resources that support their children’s growth and stability. Structured extracurricular programs, including martial arts training, are often out of reach due to cost. Martial Arts for Kids was created to remove that financial barrier.

Our foundation provides financial assistance for children under the age of 18 who have experienced domestic violence in their homes. We help cover martial arts tuition, initial membership fees, and required uniforms so youth can participate in structured martial arts programs within their local communities.

Martial arts training can play an important role in youth development. Through consistent structure, discipline, physical conditioning, and skill-based progression, children gain confidence, focus, and emotional resilience. Participation in martial arts also provides positive mentorship and a constructive outlet for stress.

By supporting locally owned martial arts schools and nonprofit training programs, Martial Arts for Kids strengthens both individual families and the broader community.

We believe access to structured martial arts training should not be determined by financial hardship. Every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, and strength in a safe and supportive environment.

If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional abuse, reach out to a trusted professional or contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or thehotline.org for confidential support.

Community support makes this mission possible. If you would like to help expand access to martial arts tuition assistance for at-risk youth impacted by domestic violence, visit our Contribution page to learn how you can contribute.
